ISO easy for micro companies from the agriffod sector - ARPE Midi-Pyrénées
Since 2004, Eco-Conseil has assisted ARPE Midi-Pyrénées (French Regional Environmental Development Agency) in the implementation of EMAS in 10 food manufacturing SMEs, using the EMAS SME Toolkit and group coaching as a base. Regulators have been included in training meetings.
Shared documentation and local empowerment has been seen as two of the most important aspects in this project, thus reducing the time spent in trainings and writing handbooks.
The main intention for the participants is to improve environmental performance and hereby improve competitiveness. EMAS Easy offers a simple and cost effective way to implement EMAS for SMEs and create capacity in the food manufacturing sector in the Midi-Pyrenees.
