DELTA programme
Sustainable Business Associates (SBA) has launched the DELTA programme in 1996 to help companies in the Maghreb and Mashrek region with their environmental upgrading, by disseminating low-cost eco-efficiency tools that can reduce both the environmental impact of companies and lead to important economic savings.
The DELTA programme is build around three environmental management tools tailor-made for SMEs. Ecomapping, the one developped by Eco-conseil Entreprise, was added to the DELTA programme through a collaboration between SBA and the ABECE.
In the frame of the programme Ecomapping is used with the German GTZ brochure developed by 3PU the Good housekeeping Guide. Ecomapping implementation examples can be found in Jordania, Syria, Palestine and Algeria.
