The project „Simplified environmental management for SME according to european example“ has been aided by the german „Bundesstiftung Umwelt (DBU)“ over a period of one year. The partners W.U.Q.M. GmbH, Paeger Consulting, Eco-Conseil Entreprise and the Saar-Lor-Lux environmental center aimed at:

- qualifying experienced environmental consultants to EMASeasy – consultants
- certificating the first german SME with the EMASeasy method


The workshops of several days' duration has been carried out at four different places in Germany with a close collaboration with environmental centers of the craft. The participants were familiarized withe the EMASeasy method and qualified as multipliers. On 12th of June 2007 the official closing event took place in Bonn. The international speakers were able to present concrete examples of a successful EMASeasy realization in companies in Germany and Europe.

Another importand objective of this project was the implementation of EMASeasy in small and medium entreprises as well as the successful certification. Baden-Wuerttemberg with the Modell Hohenlohe e.V. excelled as a pioneer. With the support of the local environmental ministry, the first EMASeasy convoy and certifications could be carried out.

Another important project goal was and is the application of EMASeasy in SMEs as well as the successfull certification. As an exemplary region Baden-Württemberg excelled with the Modell Hohenlohe e.V. . With the support of the local ministry of environmental affairs the first EMASeasy convoi and certifications could be carried out.
