STIC – INDONESIA


In 2005, Eco-conseil Entreprise collaborated with the European Partners for Environment (EPE) to organize training activities for SMEs in Indonesia active in three sectors : agrofood, aquaculture and textile. These training were part of the Sustainable Trade and Innovation Center - Indonesia project (STIC - Indonesia).

The STIC - Indonesia is a venture designed to enable developing country producers to benefit from growing market pressures to integrate environmental and social factors into their export strategies.

The initiative is led by the Center for Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (CD-SMEs) Kadin Indonesia and EPE, supported by an European Union STIC is an alliance between governments, business and civil society. STIC wants to be a platform for partnership between companies, vendors and buyers, and their stakeholders to mainstream sustainable and fair trades. This program development has been sponsored by the European Union and EPE.
