Förderkreis Umweltschutz in Unterfranken e.V.:

The „Förderkreis Umweltschutz in Unterfranken e.V.“ (FUU) was founded as a non-profit organiszation in 1988 in Würzburg with the aim to develop and support integrated and sustainable environmentalism concepts in lower franconia. The aid of environmental orientated behaviour of the industry, craft, service industry, administration, associations and other public institutes as well as private households is fixed in the articles of association.

Right now FUU has about 80 members. These includes among others companies, administration, communes, associations, freelancer and other interested persons that support the aims of the FUU. There are also opposite memberships and cooperations with the well-known german environmental initiatives B.A.U.M e.V., future e.V. and since the early 1997s with Modell Hohenlohe e.V.

Objectives:
- The support and development of sustainable environmentalism concepts in lower franconia
- The aid of environmental orientated behaviour of the industry, craft, commerce, communes, private households etc.
- networking und exchange of information with other environmental inititives und associations

Modell Hohenlohe e.V.

Since 1991 the network Modell Hohenlohe e.V. stands for corporate responsibility in the fields of environmental and climate protection. Through the networking of existing regional and supra-regional capacities, they support and improve the sustainable economising (the coequal observance of ecological, economic and social matters), the ecological awareness and the environmental responsibility of their members.

The members are to realize sustainable development und therefor live the responsible acquaintance with nature and the protection of natural ressources. The objective of the Modell Hohenlohe e.V. is to support and promotion of the realization. They haunt it in an practical and regional orientated way, e.g. with help for self help.

Consistently the network assume a nationwide pioneering task and lead by example, e.g. in the field of environmental management. Since 2002 they attend companies at convoy projects to an emas validation.

Objectives:
- The improvement of environmental and climate safety beyond legal requirements
In terms of a sustainable econimical development, their goal is to improve the environmental protection, to strengthen the competitiveness of the participating campanies and so secure employment in the region.
